To meet the needs of our clients, our team is supported by Control System Specialists at every level.

WHAT YOU WOULD DO

Uphold safe work practices as per RidgeTech Automation's safety policies and requirements
Primarily responsible for the technical control system aspects of projects
Manage client relationship and project scope under direction of Team Lead(s); communicating project schedule requirements
Complete controls designs and electrical schematics; specifying hardware and components
Develop PLC/HMI/SCADA programs; Set up VFD's and Servo systems
Contribute to automation projects through the entire design system process
Commissioning and debugging support of panels at builder and client sites
Troubleshooting electrical/mechanical and fluid power systems
Teaching robot paths; setting up and verifying safety systems
Collaborate and provide support to other Team Members

WHAT YOU BRING

Required Qualifications

Post secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems or Robotics & Automation
Applicable experience in the Controls and Automation Industry
Senior Team Members have a minimum of 7 years of experience
Intermediate Team Members typically have 37 years of experience
Junior Team Members have 13 years of experience, including coop placements
Valid Drivers License & access to reliable transportation (to travel to local client sites and the Cambridge office) Valid Passport to allow for international travel without restrictions

Required Skills:

Must have a positive attitude and be able to communicate well with both clients and team members
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Highly motivated and reliable team player
Be able to work well independently, staying both efficient and motivated
Have a strong willingness to learn and be a wellrounded team member
Willingness to travel locally or abroad
We strive to maintain a local workload, domestic and global travel may be required. The locations and length of travel will vary depending on the projects and workloads at any given time.
