Responsibilities

Deep clean and provide sanitation services of office spaces, hallways, restrooms, breakrooms, cafeteria, and facility grounds;
Dry mop, sweep, dust, and scrub area floors, walls, and spaces;
Provide garbage disposal tasks within the facility;
Support industrial paint booth cleaning of dirt, debris, paint build up and grime removal;
Lift a minimum of 50 pounds to maneuver and dispose of excess materials;
Perform physically repetitive tasks in a fastpaced environment including but not limited to: prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing/pulling, using stairs, etc.;
Follow instructions and abide by all safety policies and procedures;
Maintain storage areas and cleaning equipment, materials, and supplies in a safe and orderly manner in order;
Replenish paper towel dispensers, toilet paper, soap and disinfectant dispensers throughout the facility;
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous experience in industrialized cleaning is considered an asset;
A minimum of 12 years of heavy industrial labour experience;
Availability to work oncall as business needs require;
Experience in an industrial manufacturing or construction setting is preferred;
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and responsibilities;
Must be able to reliably commute to Oshawa, ON for work.
