As
Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will:


  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies and program for FNHA's higher complexity client groups and recruitment needs with a strong focus on Indigenous hiring, student & developmental programs as well as senior executive positions;
  • Promote aboriginal recruitment through innovative solutions and strengthening the network with First Nations communities and health partner organizations;
  • Provide mentorship to the recruitment team in their specialty areas.

Responsibilities
In this important position, here are some of the key initiatives and work that you will be responsible for:

Specialized Recruitment Solutions and Advisory

  • Recommends and develops FNHA's recruiting strategy for complex client groups and specialized skills such as (but not limited to) nursing, physicians and hardtofill roles.
  • Works with recruitment manager and communications to ensure that technology infrastructure and processes are competitive, sustainable, and aiding to attract and retain the best talent in the marketplace.
  • Provides end to end recruitment and selection solutions for senior and specialized client groups such as executive positions and HR roles. May also support recruitment of specialized skill areas such as nursing, physicians and hardtofill roles.
  • Provides specialized, technical advice and guidance to clients and coworkers, including Senior Executive Team and acts as a recruitment expert; modeling and mentoring colleagues in advanced marketing and sourcing approaches to talent acquisition.

Indigenous Recruitment Support

  • Designs, creates and implements the recruitment programs for open, senior and/or hard to fill positions and establishes talent pool for FNHA across BC, with a primary focus on Indigenous sourcing.
  • Promotes aboriginal recruitment through career coaching, interviews and resume support, as well as promote FNHA employee pipeline through information interviews.
  • Partners and strengthens the network and relationships with both FNHA management and external Communities and Organizations in the promotion of aboriginal recruitment. Promotes partnering with First Nations, Educational Institutions, and other Health Authorities to devise programs and opportunities to address the future recruitment needs of FNHA. Identifies and builds talent to work with our First Nations communities. May represent FNHA on provincial health committees and other strategic and relevant forums.

Student Recruitment Strategy

  • Provides input to Manager in creating a student recruitment strategy
  • Leads the implementation of student recruitment strategy and programs, including school outreach and career events planning.
  • Works closely with various departments in determining appropriate funding for student hiring and placement
  • Provides mentorship to HR Co-Op student, liaising with school to develop learning plans and enables student to meet objectives of work placement.

Other Recruitment Projects and Strategy Support

  • Maintains awareness of any relevant changes to legislation or collective agreement language, and advises manager of recommended actions to ensure recruitment program policies and practices are appropriately aligned and in compliance.
  • Ensures that FNHA's overall recruiting strategy, technology infrastructure and processes are competitive and aiding to attract and retain the best talent in the marketplace.
  • Designs, creates and implements programs to identify and address long term staffing needs for special projects in collaboration with management to prepare and implement effective, sustainable and targeted recruitment programs.
