Role Overview

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop, train and tune Advanced Pattern Recognition (APR) models to monitor equipment condition using SmartSignal analysts will work with various types of equipment fleetwide (pumps, motors, generators, turbines, transformers, etc.)
  • Build Thermal Performance Models using PMAX
  • Monitor APR models for alerts and perform validation of alerts
  • Inform operations on equipment issues as appropriate help establish standard communication protocols between M&D Center and operations
  • Work with Continuous Online Monitoring Team on proofofconcept projects to use APR models to switch from preventative to conditionbased maintenance practices
  • Track "catches/saves" attributed to the M&D Center with associated benefits
  • Support creation of job aids, program documents, dashboards, etc. to standardize M&D Center process

What you bring to the table?

  • Technical education preferred (Mechanical, Nuclear, I&C, Power Engineering, etc.)
  • A growth mindset with a drive to constantly learn and bring change to the industry
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada current Bruce Power security clearance is preferred
