FULL TIME WINDOW AND DOOR FABRICATORS


Window and Door Fabricators are skilled professionals who work with various materials to produce and assemble a range of windows, doors, and related products for residential and commercial buildings.

Sample job tasks include

  • Cutting, connecting, preparing, and/or painting window and door components.
  • Feeding and unloading processing machines and assisting other machine operators
  • Installing operating hardware and glass as required and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Scanning and tracking parts and products that progress through the production cycle.
  • Transporting materials, finished products, and packaging materials.
  • Checking products, materials, and packaging to identify any quality defects.
  • Previous manufacturing / production /construction / carpentry experience an asset.
  • Aptitude for using various hand tools, power tools, and other production machines.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work.
  • Basic mathematical skills including the ability to use a measuring tape.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as needed, using safe lifting techniques.
  • Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • High School Diploma / GED preferred.
  • Positive health and safety mindset.
  • Commitment to consistent, ontime attendance.
