Strassburger Windows & Doors is seeking individuals to join our growing and dynamic production team in our Customs Department.

This is a full-time position Monday to Friday, which includes benefits, and Employee Family Assistance Program and a Group RRSP program.

Key Responsibilities:

Shaping raw material into custom windows
Cutting and welding for straight sided shapes
Heat material in oven for bending curved shapes
Use precision cuts or bending tables to set forms and add accessories
Help maintain an organized and tidy workspace to ensure smooth processes and enable your team to produce the best quality products
Collaborate with other team members to ensure production requirements are met safely and efficiently

Qualifications:

Work experience in woodworking, carpentry and manufacturing
Strong finish & fine carpentry skills (i.e., trim, one point, twopoint welders, chop saw etc.)
Attention to detail and able to read shop drawings/cut lists
Team player focused answering to a team leader and plant manager
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Some heavy lifting required
Ability to read a tape measure
Ability to work out measurements and calculations
Needs to be able to work quickly and accurately while having the ability to shift to other tasks as required
Completion of secondary school preferred
2 years' woodworking experience

Compensations:

Competitive hourly wage based on experience
