Job Description:

We are looking for an Investment & Retirement Specialist to join our Investment & Retirement Solutions team within the Freedom Experience department.

This is one of the fastest growing areas within Canada Life.

What you will do

Proactively engage with clients who are considering withdrawing their assets, understanding their concerns, and providing personalized financial solutions to address their needs
Develop a deep understanding of a client's financial goals, risk tolerance and investment preferences to provide tailored advice and guidance
Identify opportunities to enhance client experience and loyalty by offering valueadded services, customized solutions, and personalized planning
Strategize and implement targeted retention initiatives to prevent asset outflows and improve client satisfaction
Conduct client winback initiatives: develop winback strategies and implement campaigns to increase client engagement.

What you will bring

Life License (LLQP) is a requirement
Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field or equivalent work experience
Professional certifications (e.g CFA, CFP) would be advantageous
Five years industry experience in financial services or related field, with a focus on sales or loyalty retention
Very strong knowledge of pension, savings and investment products or services
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients
Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence clients, presenting compelling arguments and solutions to retain their assets
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial investment statements, identify patterns and make datadriven recommendations
Sound working knowledge of MS Office products and Salesforce is beneficial
