Project Manager


The successful applicant will oversee Stanley Automatic Door Installation projects and help coordinate and schedule with the Install Coordinator, ensuring they are completed within committed time frames.


What You Will Do:

  • Attend preconstruction meetings.
  • Attend weekly project meetings during the construction phase.
  • Liaison between customer project manager and our organization
  • Review and confirm factory package confirmations.
  • Perform site verification.
  • Inventory management of install jobs.
Help coordinate information for CO Add/Deducts Help to review for special supplies - i.e. special glass, special caulking, break metal, etc. Post sales training Vendor Order reviews Coordinating lifts and special equipment for installs Work with IC to manage Open Orders Help with complicated jobs and jobs with unique job conditions Utilize orphan packages (watch incoming orders) Help manage the QMIS reports on factory issues and shortages Coordinate manpower with the Branch Manager to secure other sources of manpower or share additional manpower when needed or available Employee needs to be AAADM Certified Maintain branch safety records, including distribution and collection of safety deliverables required by company EHS personnel. Ensure that all required documentation, drawings and sign-offs are received so that the project can be properly closed-off Work with accounts receivable team, as needed, to resolve billing disputes

What You Need to Succeed:
Post-Secondary Education in Business or Construction Trades or Diploma in a related carpentry, electrical, mechanical, industrial field. Five plus years in the construction related industry required. Prior experience in the automated door or glazing industry would be an asset. Strong People and Operation Management skills. Proven Project Management skills with technical, complex, and medium to large scale sized projects. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and a strong attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Creativity and strategic thinking skill Must be able to read basic blueprints and shop drawings. Ability to work independently and within teams Good oral and written communication skills Excellent computer and communication skills with strong efficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook. SAP Experience Preferred Travel up to 15% required Valid driver's license with a good driving record required Access to a vehicle for travel to job sites required- Why Work for Us?
