HR and Talent Acquisition Specialist
We are a dynamic consumer goods company located in the heart of downtown Montreal.

Our company is recognized as developing, manufacturing, and selling cutting edge designs such as, high-quality lighting, bulbs, smart products, decorative home products, and dinnerware.

We are seeking to fill a full-time HR and Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, this person will oversee HR function within the organization as well as the recruitment process.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, independent, enthusiastic and with an entrepreneurial spirit in their role.

WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO

Build partnerships with hiring managers at all levels, impacting them on best practices for hiring;
Coordinate the recruiting work by leveraging relationships with external recruiting agencies and platforms;
Assist in the interview process;
Coordinate the Human Resources function within the organization;
Oversee employee contracts, onboarding and terminations;
Draft and implement HR policies and procedures;
Assist with employee requests regarding HR issues, rules, and regulations;
Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures;
Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees;
Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, employee activities, etc);
Be an ambassador for the organization in order to support best in class working conditions for the employees and foster best in class values in the workplace.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

Bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent;
Relevant experience in both Human Resources and Talent Acquisition (minimum 3 years);
Fluent in English, French an asset;
Working experience with Human Resources and talent acquisition platforms;
Knowledge of Quebec employment standards;
