About The Role

Responsibilities:

Design and maintain master key systems
Rekey locks to customer requirement
Assist in inventory control
Follow policies for restricted key systems
Prepare customer orders for field technicians
Service and repair various locks, door hardware and other security devices
Answering shop phones
Parts preparation
Prepare Electronic Security, service, and installations
Pull wire; program and calibrate equipment; adhere to codes, regulations, and standards.
Key cutting, pinning and fixing locks
Electronic Security, service, and installations will be required from time to time
Performing onsite services including configuration, commissioning and troubleshooting
Other duties as required

Job Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent
Proven diagnostic skills able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems
Experience with power tools is a definite asset
Must be mechanically inclined
Valid G driver's license is mandatory
Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a broad range of customer
Selfmotivated and calm under pressure
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Intermediate computer skills required
Works well independently, takes direction well
Clear criminal reference check
The ability to lift in excess of 25 Kilos
Must be willing to undertake a criminal background check on an annual basis
Punctual and reliable
