  • Position Summary:
  • The Infrastructure Lead is responsible for managing all frontend support activities for the Digital Workplace technologies like File Share/Records Management, Client Devices, Mobile Devices, eCollaboration, Operating System and Outlook. This role is responsible for managing the service providers by managing KPIs and service level agreement.
  • Within Canada, this role is also the single point of contact for all Infrastructure services including network, Audio Visual Technologies, Output solutions and local server rooms. This role is responsible to coordinate all backend activities with the backend Infrastructure teams to keep services up and running.

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for all infrastructure support (EUC, Networking, Telephony, AV &Mobility) across the region. Maintain up to date knowledge of ITM standards and service offerings for the technical operation of the Digital Workplace and Active Directory. With a focus on Enterprise, level client PC management. Assure that the business customers of MBFS ITM have the best features and experience that Mercedes Benz Mobility has to offer.
  • Responsible for the quality of all client rollouts. Works closely with the Central Support Team (MBRDI), Support Specialist and Infra Specialist
  • SCCM/AD for rolling out Patches and End Point Security updates.
  • Identify and track gaps or incidents involving client PC technology. Troubleshoot incidents and errors providing root cause analysis. Design, communicate and deliver practical solutions that address challenges encountered by personnel using PCs. Coordinate Windows Flight Updates
  • Responsible for defining and communicating a clear process for all flight updates. Work with Applications leads to test and roll out flight updates. Works closely with the Infra Specialist
  • Client Performance Management for flight updates to MBFS
  • Keep up to date with current industry best practices and trends in the area of Enterprise workplace computing. Bring this knowledge into the company and socialize it to all levels of the organization.

Qualifikationen:


  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree with focus in Information Technology, Computer/Information Science or Business Administration is required or equivalent higher education
  • Minimum 5 + years of experience in Information Technology field
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HTML, interface management, databases & data connectivity
  • Proficient in Instructional Design/Technology to assure the customers integrate with the technology.
  • Experience with Chatbots, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics
  • Vendor Management and Records Management experience required
  • 12 years of overall finance and business experience coupled with prior customer service experience.
