Area of Responsibility_
Implement bank wide Enterprise Risk Management and enhance in line with ongoing requirements
Review all relevant risk management policies on an annual basis in line with corporate governance requirements
Develop methodology for model validation and enhance required methodologies on an ongoing basis
Review and enhance Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) enhancements after consulting with all stakeholders
Present the results of stress testing and model validations in the Stress Testing Forum and ensure implementation of the recommendations
Keep Expected Credit Loss (ECL) related models updated based on latest data / methodology / regulatory guidance
Carry out credit analysis of new and existing loans on FinTech platform
Review Risk Appetite limits/Risk Dashboard and Emerging Risk Analysis on a quarterly basis
Keep abreast of regulatory policies and requirements in Canada. Work with relevant stakeholders to create and update policies in line with regulatory requirements
Analyze and automate various portfolio positions / MIS on regular basis for the Bank's retail and residential mortgage portfolios
Enhance the Board level risk management policies according to business needs and portfolio risk level and present in appropriate forums for approval
Coordinate within the department to prepare presentations for senior management, Board & regulators
Coach, mentor and develop a strong credit culture among corporate, commercial and retail business teams
Other duties as assigned
