    Panasonic Canada Inc. Hybrid Work ModelPanasonic Canada Inc. supports a hybrid work model. We understand that flexibility is essential for employees to do their best work while also balancing personal and life needs. Employees can expect to be in the office for a variable number of days per week based on the needs of the business unit, while having the ability to also work remote. Panasonic Canada Inc. offers a Flexible Work Options policy which includes the ability to work remote, mobile, and create a compressed work schedule. Supply Planner: Prepares and finalizes the monthly and weekly Supply Plan for Consumer Products/Product categories, utilizing the Demand Plan from IBP and data from both the Sales and Marketing teams. Communicates effectively on Demand and Supply plan changes. Oversee purchase orders that are generated on the Demand Plan, ensuring Plant and MRP breakdowns are aligned to forecast. Review Demand Plan changes and changes inbound dates and recommend required adjustments based on Customer needs. Liaison with Factory contacts to ensure MOQ, Master data and Purchase Orders are correct and shipped in a timely manner. Work with Customs and Transportation to ensure product arrives when required and make recommendations to expedite when needed.Please note this is a full-time opportunity.Please note that this is a hybrid role. Office based work will be performed out of our Ambler Drive Office in Mississauga, ON.Responsibilities:
  • Develop Supply Plan: Reviews Demand Plan (Final Forecast) following PSI weekly and monthly cycles and verifies product order quantity, plant breakdown and location (MRP) as well as delivery date align with initial IBP Plan. Propose and implement solutions to improve Supply Plan.
  • Identify products that require Safety Stock or Turn Over days' adjustments based on analysis of Demand Plan and requirements of Customer required inventory levels and Category Budget levels. Verifies total demand within and beyond the forecast horizon, providing recommendations to Marketing on forecast adjustments based on trends, customer orders, supply constraints.
  • Effectively communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management. Resolve errors, optimize Supply plan by requesting changes to Master Data or updating orders and plant breakdown. Monitor and report on important changes to Supply Plan. Address and communicate Supply related issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Finalize Supply Plan - Following creation of Supply Plan, makes Supply Plan data available to respective teams Marketing, Sales, Factories in preparation of PSI review meetings. May attend Consensus or PSI Meetings to provide role-related assistance and recommendations on Supply and logistics issues.
  • Ensures all relevant data is correct. MOQ, rounding lead-times are properly maintained. Ensures Supply Plan is aligned with Plant and location, making appropriate changes and recommendations. Execute the Supply plan that meets the organizational and customer needs.
  • Product Procurement – Places Purchase orders with Factories ensuring MOQ, Lead times and plant breakdowns are correct in accordance with the Supply Plan. As required expedites orders with Factory or Customs and Transportation, may recommend shipping arrangements in consultation with Customs and Transportation.
  • Advises Sales and Marketing teams as required on changes to inbound dates or issues with supply from Factory. Reviews changes to Demand and recommends/executes changes to plant breakdown prior to PO create. Reviews changes to Demand forecast and orders and recommends, if needed, add orders from Factory. Prepares and ensures proper documentation for Add Orders and changes in Shipping arrangements (ERS, Air) Prepare USD/Yen currency reservation reports for Marketing, ensuring proper information is provided to CPD accounting.
  • Product Set Up/Maintenance – Ensures all relevant data is properly filled out in New Product set up forms. Requires following up with Factory and Marketing teams to ensure process is followed. Ensures all information is correct for loading models into ECC and IBP, including MOQ, Master packs, pricing and Forecasting customer requirements. Ensures QA inspections are quickly scheduled upon first product arrival. Reviews and addresses any system errors, working with IT or Factory. Maintains Factory related Master Data to ensure PO and payments.
  • Additional Support: Prepares informational and analytical reports as requested. Process Master Sample requests (MSS), ensuring proper sign of by all required stakeholders, tracking and return to inventory. Prepares manual purchase orders for promotional type product.
  • Prepares relevant forms for inventory disposal requests, cross divisional transfer requests. Maintains and updates associated system information. Provides support/ back up for Data Maintenance. Periodically required to prepare and distribute other team reports (POS, LA reports) and/or Ad-hoc reports
  • The Successful Candidate Will Have:
  • Community College- 2 years' certificate or diploma.
  • 2 years of minimum related work experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills to exchange information and build rapport.

    Develops, implements, and monitors the effectiveness of product marketing strategies for Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC - Heat Pump, Ductless, Ducted, Residential), to achieve sales, profit, inventory and other business objectives.Reviews applicable market research, sets prices, keeps up to date on new product development.

    Designs and develops high quality and secured desktop, web, mobile and cloud applications on various platforms. Identifies and resolves bugs and issues on local and productions systems. Develops Next-Gen product using cutting edge technologies and updates existing systems and integrates improvements to the products that are already deployed in the market. Keeps up to date with latest technologies, hardware and software applications, and company product and service offerings.

    Salesforce Administrator/ Jr. Developer:

    The Salesforce Administrator/Junior Developer ensures the system is updated and security protocols are met for production and sandbox platforms. Maintains daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual data and system maintenance tasks. Provides user support and training. Supports implementation of patches and upgrades as required. Prepares required reports and analytics.

    Processes customer orders according to detailed departmental programs for electric works and other LDS product categories. Maintains and monitors account credit/debit charges relating to customer accounts in accordance with established policies and procedures. Prepares all associated documentation including special pricing, delivery arrangements and other order processing details.
