***As our District Visual Manager, you will use your superior understanding of fashion, business operations, and expert merchandising experience to communicate our unique brand identity to customers through strategic product displays. You will provide valued support and directives to all our retail teams, with the ultimate goal to drive sales and maximize product sell-through.


RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES GENERATION

  • Provide exceptional client experience by executing OAK+FORT Sales Culture
  • Be a brand ambassador by keeping up with new arrivals, product knowledge, and wearing current merchandise
  • Provide industry knowledge through awareness of products and prices in the market
  • Drive sales through OAK+FORT by creatively and strategically monitoring all merchandising instore
  • Maximize sales during special events and customer services through strategic planning and execution of strong product placement
  • Keep up to date with Daily/Monthly sales targets and work through relevant partners to strategically achieve goals
  • Process cash desk operations with engagement, efficiency, and accuracy

STAFF DEVELOPMENT

  • Build our team by welcoming and supporting the onboarding of new employees
  • Build and maintain relationships with store team, peers, and relevant partners
  • Support development of high performing staff to maximize productivity
  • Onboard and support development strategies of store Merchandise Leads
  • Inspire and motivate team through demonstrating leadership
  • Provide timely feedback and training to management teams and Merchandise Lead
  • Partnering with Store manager provide coaching, feedback, and validation of Merchandise Lead performance through formal and informal evaluations

STORE FUNCTIONALITY

  • Participate in execution of floor management as needed
  • Communicate weekly corporate directives, product updates and promotional direction with Merchandise Leads and Management
  • Utilize merchandising skillset through an understanding of product density, adjacencies, and customer flow
  • Promote brand aesthetic and enhance merchandise displays through creative and strategic merchandising
  • Partner with RVM, DM and Allocation to asses top and bottom selling products to ensure district's products are at the right store at the right time
  • Support corporate planning of window displays and monitor window installations
  • Provide individual store feedback to store's merchandising in accordance to corporate directives
  • Track and provide weekly KPI's to RVM
  • Lead and support the creation of corporate and district merchandising directives
  • Efficiently and accurately support with shipping and receiving of merchandise
  • Perform inventory counts upon corporate office direction
  • Participate in stock room setup and organization
  • Support cleanliness and maintenance of physical store to create a safe and comfortable shopping experience
  • Adhere to loss prevention policies to prevent external and internal theft

REQUIREMENTS

  • Completed postsecondary education in Visual Merchandising or a related field
  • 1+ year of experience of multistore support
  • Experience with a brand similar to the OAK + FORT aesthetic
  • An indepth understanding of OAK + FORT's brand philosophy, style and aesthetics
  • Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Detailoriented
  • Proven ability to provide leadership, guidance and strategy to the team members
  • Ability to move merchandise up to and over 50 lbs
  • Ability to work weekend and travel locally, domestically and internationally as needed
