The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society.

Nokia's Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of our team, you will:

  • Develop various features of the Developer Portal using Python/Django
  • Take responsibility to write effective, scalable code
  • Code, test and debug new or existing features of the portal
  • Work closely with other developers, and actively participate in portal related discussions
  • Working in a fastpaced environment with an excellent team of engineers

What is Nokia looking for from Me**You Have:
  • 2nd year+ Software Engineering or Computer Science major.
  • Strong programming skills in Python (Experience with Django Framework preferred)
  • Some Experience with web development (HTML, CSS and JavaScript)
  • Strong grasp of objectoriented software design concepts.
  • Familiarity with Unix (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience with Git version control system and/or micro-services build architecture (Gradle).
  • Strong problem resolution skills; ability to learn quickly.
  • Knowledge of agile software design and test methodologies.
We are looking for a motivated student that is eager to learn and is passionate about problem solving. You can troubleshoot and come up with ideas for actions that could be taken to diagnose or fix problems.

You will be exposed to the multiple stages of software development and earn the opportunity to choose your next project.
