  • In this role, you will:_
  • Understand Department of National Defence (DND) material certification requirements and the steps necessary to prepare and present the material state reports needed at milestone events
  • Support the collation, interpretation, and presentation of the material status of given submarine as represented in DRMIS (Defence Resource Management Information System
  • Department of National Defence's SAP implementation)
  • Identify gaps and discrepancies related to material certification requirements
  • Conduct daily maintenance of the material state within DRMIS
  • Provide constructive feedback to stakeholders regarding common shortfalls in DRMIS documentation
  • Exercise a reasonable degree of understanding of submarine systems from hull, mechanical, electrical, and combat systems, and be able to assess whether the results and quality evidence are sufficient to support certification
  • Understand submarine First Level (safety critical) technical documentation
  • Update Configuration changes within Submarine Definition Database (SDD)
  • Other duties as assigned
  • An accredited technical college diploma, or an acceptable combination of training and 4 years' experience performing similar work
  • Practical experience with technical documentation review/analysis and with quality assurance processes
  • A demonstrated knowledge of marine systems and/or submarine technical experience
  • Proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID19, meaning that you must have received the full series of a COVID19 vaccine approved by the Government of Canada with the final dose at least 14 days prior to your start date as well as any COVID boosters recommended by public health authorities
  • You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
