Kepler is on a Mission to bring the internet to space.

Incorporated in 2015, Kepler's guiding star is to enable the space economy through the creation of a communication network in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) that will provide connectivity services to other space missions, be they on orbit in LEO, MEO, GEO, or beyond.

With an expanding base of early customers and our first 19 satellites in orbit, Kepler is continuing to grow and expand its most important asset - the Team Based out of our HQ in Toronto and with an office in the UK and a newly formed office in the US we are building towards a truly global company delivering a product for the whole world.

We invest heavily to deliver the best products to our customers, and so we are on the hunt
- for a top-tier Project Managementor Engineering Management Co-op Student.

  • As a ProjectManagement Coop, you will work closely with our Program Managers to help manage resources, schedules, and priorities across hardware and software teams across various projects.

You will be a key asset in developing internal communications, dashboards on project status, and executingschedule and budget tools that enable our leadership team to make informed decisions about the organization.

You will learn from an agile management team on leading innovative R&D projects and how dynamic start-ups mature their processes and toolsets for rapid growth.


Responsibilities:


  • Leverage best practices in organizational change management to implement regular internal communications (dashboards, SharePoint sites, newsletters, etc.).
  • Work closely with the Program Management Office (PMO) to develop lightweight documentation and reflect key performance indicators in concise reports.
  • Work closely with the PMO and financial team to develop reports for our various engineering teams on schedule and spend.
  • Support the PMO in their tasks and partake as available or requested in critical path analysis, spend analysis, and risk management activities.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in progress within Engineering or relevant technical field
  • Strong Excel spreadsheets and Gantt charts skills, with the ability to interpret flowcharts, schedules, and stepbystep action plans.
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and timemanagement.
  • Highly organized and can successfully manage timelines for both your own work and the deliverables of projects under your purview.

Bonus Points:


  • Master's Degree in progress within Engineering, Science or Business.
  • PMP Designation or in progress.
  • Experience or certifications in organizational change management or organizational communications.
  • Prior internships or coop experience working in engineering or technical environment.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint website creation, and Power Automate.
  • Proficiency with PowerBI dashboard creation.
  • You have experience with relevant hobbies or University design.
