This is a bookkeeping job for a growing sandwich company. We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper who will keep our books neat and tidy. Position is available immediately.


About Us:

We are a small family owned food manufacturing company that has been in business for over 30 years.

We are located on Kingsway Ave in Port Coquitlam and moved into a new facility less than a year ago.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Bookkeeping ~16 hours per week
  • AP includes entering invoices, preparing cheques and checking that invoices match our receiving records
  • Monthly Bank reconciliations
  • Record intercompany transfers
  • Metriculously track prices and send alerts to management
  • Work can done remotely, but requires a weekly onsite visit to file and pick up new paperwork.
  • Paid hourly $2428 per hour depending on experience

Optional Responsibilities depending on experience:


  • Payroll payments and filing
  • GST filing and payments
  • CRA Bank reconciliations

Qualifications:


  • Experience with Quickbooks Online
  • 2+ years bookkeeping experience
  • Diploma in bookkeeping, accounting or business
  • Detail oriented
  • Computer savvy
  • Experience with Canadian GST and BC PST
  • Ability to use Google Gmail, Docs, Drive
  • Fluent in English

Nice to have:


  • Experience working in a modern, cloud based office environment
  • Experience with Payroll
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems (ERPs or MRPs)
  • Ability to speak other languages such as Cantonese, Mandarin, French, Albanian, Polish, Greek, Ukrainian, Farsi etc

$24.00-$28.00 per hour
