What we're looking for
We're searching for an exceptional individual to join our team as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager.

This person will assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing our team of housekeepers and partner with the local management team in
Whistler, BC.


Compensation
- $55000 CAD / Year
-
$1000 SIGN ON BONUS Paid in two segments - $250 paid after 30 days of employment. $250 paid after 90 days of employment.

What you'll do

  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager with hiring, training, motivating, recognizing
  • Support the Housekeeping manager in an effort to ensure proper staffing and scheduling for maximum productivity
  • Communicate priorities to staff through daily and weekly meetings
  • Participate in daily operations including cleaning and inspecting of units to maintain standards
  • Identify and report maintenance related problems
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with fellow regional team members and upper management team
  • Performs other duties as needed

Skills you'll need

  • High School diploma or equivalent training/experience required
  • 3 years related housekeeping experience, 2+ years supervisory experience preferred
  • One to three years hospitality customer service experience
  • Technical computer skills required on all forms of hardware laptops, tablets and mobile devices
  • Availability to work Sunday through Saturday
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fastpaced environment
  • Highly responsive and reliable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time
  • Reach overhead and below the waist
  • Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
