We are currently seeking a
Finance Manager for a client in North Bay. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits and RRSP matching. 80K To 110K depending upon experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide information for audits
  • Develop and maintain financial accounting systems
  • Manage Financial statements and reports
  • Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded,
- amortized, and disposed of as appropriate

  • Prepare annual charitable return in a timely manner as appropriate
  • Liaise with the Treasurer, Finance Committee as appropriate
  • Oversee all payroll functions to ensure that employees are paid in a timely and accurate
- manner

  • Manage the employee insurance and benefits plans
  • Process and submit statutory and benefits remittances
  • Issue annual T4s and T4A's
  • Maintain financial records for each project in a manner that facilitates management reports
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of individual projects
  • Maintain risk management policies and procedures to minimize organizational risk

Qualifications:

  • University degree or college diploma in Accounting, Commerce, or Business
  • Management/Administration
  • Professional Accounting designation
  • 5+ Years' experience working in Aboriginal organizations.
