Position Title:

Data Scientist - Workface Planner III


Purpose:


This role will define and promote our data driven culture, providing thought leadership for how we use data across the program which includes stakeholders in Finance, Customer, Product, Sales, Supply chain, Engineering and Analytics to drive thoughtful improvements towards operational efficiency and continuous improvements.


Responsibilities:


  • Capturing and defining the program and project business and design data by working with the program and project leaders, digital execution managers, and digital SMEs to understand the lifecycle, flow, and status of data
  • Integrated Systems Data Flow Maps for program and project delivery systems
  • Data visualization (ie Power BI dashboards) and data mining/aggregation solutions to meet the program, project, and customer needs. This includes working with stakeholders to create the functional specifications; developing Power BI dashboards or working with global dashboard SME team to achieve required results; developing or working with other SMEs to deliver required data mining utilities/routines.
  • Coordinates with Global Data team in the setup and delivery of the Program and Project Data Hub.
  • Oversees the data handover and customer integrations per requirements.

Technical and Industry Experience:


  • Proven ability to enable performance through hands on leadership, influence, and wider stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong communication, facilitation and listening skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and detailed oriented
  • Working knowledge of Agile delivery
  • Experience in driving solution delivery utilizing multiple teams
  • Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence systems.
  • Understanding of data privacy and security regulations.
  • Experience in architecture design
  • Extensive experience in information architecture
  • Experience with developing solution architecture and conceptual & logical system design for largescale programs and projects preferred
  • Experience in EPC project Delivery systems and work processes including or equivalents

3D Model S3D/ E3D, SPPID, SPI, SPEL

  • Engineering database systems such as Aveva Engineering and/or Aveva Net or AIM
  • Aveva ERM or supply chain / material management systems
  • Aconex / EDMS systems
  • Mater Tags Registry & Master Document Registry
  • Excel Data sources
  • Experience in data visualization systems such as Power BI
  • Experience in Power Automate or equivalent
  • Support project datacentric model execution

Required:


  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
