Canpotex is hiring a

Data and Integrations Administrator to join our Information Technology team. This position is permanent and will be based in our Saskatoon office.

The opportunity

  • Responsible for all phases of development and operation of data pipelines and integrations, including design, development, testing, deployment, security, documentation, maintenance, and support.
  • Responsible for the design and implementation of automation strategies for testing, deployment and maintenance of databases, ETL, data pipelines, integrations, and other related solutions.
  • Responsible for the full data development life cycle from design, testing, implementation to delivery, support and maintenance of data models, data warehouse, data pipelines, and connections to ensure data quality.
  • Educates, trains, and promotes proper data management and data engineering practices with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoots database, integration, interface, and data pipeline issues within the computing environment.
  • Conducts research and makes recommendations on data products, services, techniques, methods, and standards in support of corporate initiatives.

You have

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Three to five to years of experience in providing data management and data solutions and/or services.
  • Significant Experience with database, data warehouse, ETL, reporting and BI tools such as MS SQL Server, IBM DB2, Azure SQL Database, WhereScape, MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Azure Data Factory, MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), MS Power BI.
  • Azure Data Engineer, ITIL 4 Foundation, and other IT certifications are considered an asset.

You bring

  • Demonstrated ability to work in multiple deployment environments including cloud, onpremises, and hybrid.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to communicate ideas in both technical and userfriendly language.
