POSITION OVERVIEW
Sales incented position responsible to utilize SaskTel sales methodologies to proactively identify, research, and contact potential new customers to gain an understanding of their business needs and initiatives.
Identifies leads to generate new revenue for Business Sales & Solutions. Develops customer relationships by conducting needsanalyses, creating solutions, proposals, and presentations to secure sales opportunities. Determines, develops, and delivers business solutions, and proposals with a focus on new and emerging technologies. Responsible for establishing and meeting win back and revenue targets.
TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Determines customer needs and requirements using proven sales methodologies in a competitive environment. Initiates/prepares sales proposals and recommends optimum solutions to the customer. Utilizes support personnel as required.
- Develops and leverages strategies to identify high potential customers.
- Conducts cold calls to obtain key information from targeted prospects.
- Manages and tracks prospects including identifying decision makers, timelines, specific qualifications, enters data accurately and consistently into Salesforce CRM and other tracking tools.
- Provides customer and prospect knowledge to Account Executives, Account Representatives, Service Representatives and Sales Coordinators as required.
- Delivers business solutions and proposals to fulfill the needs of business customers.
- Develops and maintains a working knowledge of SaskTel's products, services, systems, and pricing options.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Certificate in Business Administration, Marketing or Technical Institute Diploma, with working knowledge of current sales techniques typically gained with 1 year in in one of the following areas: Service Representative, Service Technician, Sales Coordinator, Install & Repair, Data Test, or a sales prospecting role OR working knowledge of current sales techniques, typically gained with 2 years in one of the following areas: Service Representative, Service Technician, Sales Coordinator, Install & Repair, Data Test, or a sales prospecting role.
- Successfully demonstrates sales ability in a facetoface sales environment and ability to present customized solutions.
- General knowledge of two or more of the following:
b) Unified communication, collaboration & voice services
c) Internet, networks & data services
d) Technology Devices e.g., Smartphones, Tablets etc.
e) Smart Services e.g., Smart Wifi, Smart Firewall
- General knowledge of business principles e.g., Finance, Marketing and Communications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence and persuade others.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decisionmaking skills.
- Good planning, organizing, and coordinating skills.
- Valid Driver's License.
