Greater Toronto Area (Remote position but requires travel/site visits within Ontario)

The Role


As an Area Manager in outside sales you will be the driving force behind growing our business across your designated territory.

Your mission? To inspire Canadian educators to show their students the world.

A born connector and entrepreneur, you are adept at forming then deepening relationships with key educational stakeholders in your area.

Seeking to expand market presence, you will develop innovative ways to introduce EF to a broader range of educators.

Using your entrepreneurial spirit, you will be strategic and persistent in seeking to grow your market while supporting your teammates in achieving their goals.

A natural strategist and seasoned road warrior, you will need to be both expertly prioritized and highly adaptable.

Your day to day will include developing and refining the growth strategy for your region, engaging prospective clients through outbound phone calls and in person meetings, and deepening our relationships across your territory's network of schools through meetings and events.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute long term growth strategies by forging partnerships with teachers, principals, school board officials and administrators
  • Drive market growth through customer retention and developing new business via facetoface customer interaction
  • Achieve weekly meeting metrics with aggressive selflead generation through referrals and highvolume phone and in person sales
  • Participate and present at conferences, workshops, information sessions and recruitment meetings
  • Remote collaboration with sales support team and other departments
  • Daily and weekly database management of sales activity
  • Accurate weekly forecasting of projected regional growth
  • Host networking functions and events often outside of normal work hours

Requirements:


  • Must be based in the Greater Toronto Area
  • Proven track record of success in sales with 3+ years of experience focusing on new business development and/or account management.
  • Prior outside sales experience a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights
  • Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • Travel is required
  • Must be able to drive and own a car
