Position Responsibilities

  • Develop operating procedures for various operations on shop floor
  • Conduct time studies at various stations to identify CI opportunities & develop methods to implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in designing & developing of plant layouts,cell layout using AutoCAD.
  • Collect attendance, production & quality data every day from shop floor.
  • Analyze the production /quality data & develop reports by summarizing information & trends to provide insights to the management.
  • Purchase tools that are required on shop floor to run the production smoothly & issue PO to vendors.
  • Maintenance of tools on shop floor by sending them for repair to various vendors.
  • Records and analyzes information on specific problems assigned in the utilization of personnel, material, machines and facilities.
  • Maintain 5S throughout the plant and facilitate 5S training.
  • Assist team with root cause analysis on various production issues.
  • Assist plant manager & production supervisors to help them run production smoothly.
  • Supports plant in achieving Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness and Cost goals.
  • Perform special assignments as assigned by the Managers.

Minimum Requirements

  • Post Secondary Education.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Benefits available after 3 months of employment

Hours:
Monday to Thursday 6:30 AM - 6 PM

Fridays 6:30 - 3 PM


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From $22.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • No weekends
