Purpose of Position:

Reporting to the Director,
PMO, the Project Manager will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to prescribed deadlines and within budget.

This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in a matrixed environment to deliver projects according to plan.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop project charters and project plans as appropriate to effectively manage scope, approach, schedule and budgets for initiatives
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Track project milestones and deliverables.
Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
Manage change management communications including creation, distribution, and impact measurement reports to create appropriate levels of awareness for all stakeholders
Coordinate change management and training activities to support project rollout to internal and external stakeholders
Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

Education/Skills/Experience/Designations:

Education:

Required : Post-Secondary degree
Preferred: SAP ECC
Additional Preferred Formal Certifications: PMP

Experience:

5+ years IT Systems Projects / Business Analysis experience
3+ years experience with change management/change control boards
Knowledge of SAP modules, particularly SD, MM and FICO, is preferred

Knowledge/Competencies/Skills:

Effective presentation skills and able to facilitate discussions and build consensus to achieve holistically beneficial outcomes
Highly selfmotivated, excel at multitasking and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment
Excellent written and verbal communication with strong command of business English
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Able to think strategically about opportunities for business process/systems improvement
Able to accept and manage changing priorities and address issues quickly and professionally
Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Visio and MS Project
Knowledge of PMBOK, BPM CBOK is an asset

Working Conditions:

Based in Toronto, currently remote work
Potentially 20% of working hours may need to accommodate office hours of our west coast programs for teleconference meetings
Occasional travel for onsite data gathering sessions and deployments with west coast team members
