OVERVIEW:


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Power BI (35%)

  • Utilize Power BI and other data visualization tools to create reports, dashboards, and perform data exploration.
  • Work with the Senior Visualization Specialist and Business Analysts to design, build, manage, and maintain databases/datasets as inputs for the development of reports and dashboards.
  • Design interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop.
  • Perform DAX formulas and functions for calculations and custom calculations in Power BI.
  • Enhance report aesthetics and functionality by creating custom visuals and themes.

Data Modelling(30%)

  • Develop automation extraction, cleansing, and load scripts within Power Query.
  • Experience with Microsoft suite technology including MS Power Automate and Azure stack.
  • Design principles for data marts and data warehouses.
  • Interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Translate business requirements into solutions.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills(20%)

  • Gather requirements effectively.
  • Make presentations and conduct product/solution demonstrations.
  • Work independently or in a teamoriented, collaborative environment.

Technical Skills(15%)

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Experience using Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of shared folders and collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Experience using Jira.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Experience:


  • Minimum bachelor's degree or designation, advanced degree preferred.
  • Ability to provide expert advice in developing and integrating process and information models to enable identifying and eliminating redundant business processes.
  • Extensive experience with conceptual, logical and physical data modelling tools like Power Designer, and Visio
  • Strong and indepth understanding of visualization tools, functionalities
  • Data analysis experience
  • Self starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge/Competencies/Skills:


  • Must have: PL300
  • Microsoft Power BI certification, Data modeling, Requirement gathering, Expert in Power Query.
  • Good to have: Power Platform, Jira, Presentation and explaining the solution, Expert in Excel.

WORKING CONDITIONS:


  • Semiflexible schedule.
  • Uneven workload, with peak periods
  • Ability to collaborate with staff across geographies and manage own time with reasonable flexibility outside of peak work periods.
