Our Co-op/Intern Programming is offered with select Co-op and Internship roles, and is designed to help you better understand the TD business, build on critical career capabilities, and broaden your professional network.

This program is designed to complement your on-the job experience and features:


  • Leadership talks with key Leaders from across the organization
  • Lunch and Learns on topics such as Innovation
  • Diversity and Inclusion and Personal Branding and so much more
Principal responsibilities you'll be entrusted with include but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with traders and salespeople to support clients, assist with client requests, conduct day-to-day activities which facilitate client trading
  • Conduct research and obtain market data through Bloomberg, trading systems, and internal databases
  • Contribute towards the development of marketplace modeling and adhoc quantitative research
  • Design and implement frontoffice solutions for trading analytics and operations
  • Maintain the group's online, clientfacing, web portal
  • Coordinate with various groups (middle office, back office, technology, clients) in resolving technical and settlement issues in trading operations, as well as account allocation

Qualifications

  • Have a combination of strong financial/analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and adept at financial modeling and valuation
  • Experience with Python, SQL, VBA and Bloomberg is required
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills are mandatory as the job requires you to speak directly with clients
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with others (both with internal and external stakeholders)
  • Highlymotivated, detailoriented, and able to work independently in a proactive manner
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong attention to detail is a MUST
