We are currently looking for a qualified

Lead, Supply Chain & Distribution to join the Lundbeck Canada Finance and Business operations team. This position is permanent full-time located at our Ville Saint-Laurent head-office

Your Position:

As Lead, Supply Chain & Distribution you will be responsible for and leading the full supply and distribution process for Canada, a critical process for our organization.

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this role resides in the Finance department, which is at the cornerstone of the Lundbeck Canada organization, striving to be the valued partner for all internal stakeholders, providing quality solutions and guidance that drive results.


Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Assess inventory coverage monthly.
  • Partner with Lundbeck's Head Office (Liaison between Canada and Global European teams) in the product requirement forecasting process for Canada.
  • Reconcile inventory levels with distribution centers' inventory adjustment reports.
  • Coordinate and manage various committees/teams in relation to the level of crisis when backorder situations arise.

These teams are the following:

  • Lundbeck Internal supply chain team
  • External 3PL team
  • Coordinate, manage and analyze various logistics processes including but not limited to inbound shipments, product returns, issuance of credit notes and product destruction, in partnership with Quality Assurance department.
  • Remain informed on the latest Customs Canada Regulations and develop procedures in line with these regulations when needed.
  • Participate in month end process by preparing inventory reconciliations, ensuring inventory movements are reflected in SAP, documenting destruction letters, accruals, invoice validation, and any other related tasks and filings.

Supply Chain & Trade Relations Management

  • Setup and negotiate distribution agreements as required to achieve optimum cost/benefit for Lundbeck.
  • Manage distribution supplier performance, and review performance against expectations in the agreement.
  • Monitor SOP policies and compliance. Making appropriate corrective adjustments to make sure trade partner (external 3PL partner) operates efficiently and is cost effective.
  • Support the Director of Finance in managing and building trade partner relationships with our wholesalers to enable collaboration, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee customer service support with 3PL partner and Lundbeck customers purchasing from the 3PL partner.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain stewardship programs and payments.
  • Invoicing review and payment requests for distribution.
  • Keep abreast of Industry standards.
  • Oversee distribution costs and fees, implement methods to build efficiencies.
  • Support any adhoc projects for supply chain.

Position Qualifications and Requirements

  • 25 years in similar capacity, at minimum 5 years in a more junior related role
  • B. Com in management or finance or equivalent
  • Minimum travel required.
