Opportunity:


Parsons is seeking an Junior Events Coordinator to work in Parsons' Smart Vehicle Solutions team, headquarters in
Markham, ON, beginning in April 2023.

Our team has been in place for more than 20 years assisting the public, vehicle owners and operators, and inspection centres across North America.

As an intern within the Smart Vehicle Solutions team, you will provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment by helping our customers, and assisting Program delivery partners (e.g., inspection centres) under contract with our project.


This position is a great opportunity to learn all aspects of project implement and operation phases, while being a part of a fast-paced energetic team.


Let's talk about what you will be doing:

  • Work with our team to plan and execute industry outreach events across Ontario (in-person and virtual), including:
  • Develop and edit communication materials, presentations, and videos
  • Planning and executing tasks related to successful industry events
  • Coordinate industry participation surveys
  • Develop, review, and coordinate communication materials to industry
  • Meet with project team members multiple times a week to review goals, objectives, and progress.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, with changing time constraints.
  • Assist with multiple tasks and deliverables that come up through the life of a project

Here's what we're looking for:


  • Strong organization skills, and attention to detail.
  • Skilled communicator, writer, and editor.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and coordinate activities across a range of functional areas.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and convey information appropriately for a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to adhere to detailed instructions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and preferred familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Driver's License Required
  • Must be flexible to work remotely and travel
