We are hiring
Academic
Advisors for our Toronto and Brampton Campuses.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Advise students on academic and program related matters including developing academic action plans for students with academic difficulty.
Identify the education options appropriate for each student and assist with the analysis of each option, including possible outcomes and their implications.
Provide student with broad and comprehensive knowledge of college curriculum and course content and assists with decisionmaking.
Monitor student progress, support student promotion through the program process, process appeals, Add/Drop course requests, and transfer credit documentation.
Assist with Peer Mentoring Program.
Assist with other administrative duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelor's degree majored in education or related fields.
Previous experience working with faculty and students in postsecondary education is an asset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suites (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
Familiar with Schoology, or similar Learning Management platforms.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and critical thinking.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
Team player with a clientcentric mindset and positive attitude.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.

Work Hours:

Tuesday

Saturday, 9 AM 5PM
