About the role:

The Marketing Manager - Traditional Media will plan, develop, and implement marketing initiatives for multiple lottery programs. The Marketing Manager - Traditional Media will work closely with the marketing team, Project Managers, and vendors.

We are looking to fill this position in our Saskatoon, Saskatchewan location.

Primary Responsibilities:

Work with the Marketing team to establish an appropriate traditional media budget to meet the lottery / raffle program objectives.
Understand the traditional media community (TV, radio, billboard) for multiple markets.
Manage all media buys by working directly with media reps.
Build longterm working relationships with media reps.
Build direct mail plans and coordinate all direct mail marketing activities with vendors.
Work with the creative team to produce creative and manage, proof, and distribute all print collateral.
Manage call centre providing direction and support.
Monitor analytics and adjust plans while in campaign to maximize results and ROI.
Coordinate all briefing packages and reporting.

Qualifications:

Postsecondary degree/diploma in marketing or related discipline
Intermediate level skills with MS Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong negotiation skills
Strong attention to details
The ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Demonstrated ability to work with data and draw relevant insights
Strong understanding of consumer behaviour and the role of traditional forms of marketing in the consumer journey
10+ years of work experience related to traditional forms of marketing, including direct experience buying media
