About the role:


The Media Events Specialist will help plan and facilitate events for multiple lottery programs and manage media relations responsibilities related to these events.

The Media Events Specialist will work closely with the program teams, Project Managers, and vendors.

We are looking to fill this position in our Saskatoon, Saskatchewan location. Travel is required.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Work with the marketing team to plan, organize and oversee an appropriate schedule of events for a lottery / raffle program.
  • Manage promotional calendar of events and ensure events are delivered on budget.
  • Plan, coordinate all logistics, vendors, and contracts for all events.
  • Provide day of support and oversee each event in the schedule.
  • Develop, source and plan earned and paid media opportunities.
  • Prepare written correspondence.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to maximize influencer and brand ambassador presence and performance.
  • Monitor and adjust plans while in campaign to maximize results and ROI.
  • Coordinate all briefing packages and reporting.
  • Manage the content capture process at properties.

Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary degree/diploma in marketing or related discipline
  • Intermediate level skills with MS Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organized, detailed oriented and strong planning skills
  • 3+ years of work experience related to event planning and facilitation, and communications
