This is a contract role for either 12 or 18 months.


Shifts Available:


  • Day am pm

Location:

-
Seven Facility Hwy 7, Woodbridge.


Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the basic routine of the QA Technician and can fill in when called upon
  • Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms
  • Ensure that lab cleanliness and safety standards are being maintained, as well ensuring compliance company wide
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems, identifying a solution in a timely manner
  • Participate in internal assessments and audits of products, procedures, and equipment to identify any issues with the current state.

Qualifications:


  • Completion of college diploma in Food Science preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a quality assurance role
  • Proficient with office 365, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams
  • Ability to run analytics and use database systems to create reports
  • Working knowledge of Ministry of Labour and WSIB
  • Working knowledge of AOAC methods, and posses basic Lab analytics skills
  • Strong knowledge of CFIA/Health Canada/ OMAFRA/FDA/USDA/GFSI/HASP Benchmarks Auditing an asset
  • Ability to manage and communicate sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Excellent ability to focus and prioritize in a fastmoving environment
  • Understanding and managing cost of quality
