The Department of Geography and Planning, College of Arts and Science invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following course during the Regular session:

Term and Course Dates: Winter Session (January to April 2025)
CRN: 24876
Delivery Mode: Lecture (in-person), University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon campus.
Course Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, 3:00-4:20pm
Expected Enrollment Limit: 30
Qualifications: The candidate for this position will have a proven record of effective teaching and mentoring of undergraduate students. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in a studio setting and facilitating group project activities. Emphasis is on professional urban design activities including facilitation of public charrettes, student presentations and teaching professional presentation skills to planning students. The candidate will hold an advanced degree in urban planning or urban design and hold membership in a related professional field. The candidate should hold membership in the Saskatchewan Professional Planning Institute.
A valid driver's license is required for off campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
