JOB SUMMARY
The Inventory Control Coordinator reports directly to the Shipping Supervisor of Toro Railings. He or she is responsible for controlling and coordinating inventory flow.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist with inventory counts.
- Creating shipping paperwork for deliveries to job sites.
- Responsible for inventory accuracy of hardware, industrial supplies and safety equipment.
- Inventory planning, restocking and requisition.
- Receiving hardware and shop supplies.
- Picking production inventory for the assembly line and hardware requirements on site.
- Reconcile balances and make necessary adjustments.
- Participate in investigations regarding inventory discrepancies.
- Participate in projects to ensure the efficient use and flow of inventory.
- Ensure inventory procedures are adhered to.
- Release materials for manufacturing.
- Develop plans for reaching total inventory turnover goals.
- Maintain the product master and related databases.
- Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY OPERATE IN THE ROLE
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 23 years of experience in inventory, receiving order picking.
- Experience with inventory control systems is considered an asset
- Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented & organized
- Excellent team player
- Willingness to learn
- Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. comfortably
