AZ Truck Driver
Job Summary
Z'gamok Construction LP is recruiting for an AZ/DZ Driver to join our team.
The AZ/DZ Driver is responsible for completing short haul deliveries in and around the Greater Sudbury area by operating triaxle dumps and/or triaxle with pups.
Hauling includes but is not limited to waste rock, sand, aggregates, and equipment by float trailers.Third party hauling may be required from time to time and will also work alongside OCL Custom Crushing and Quarrying Ltd.'s sister company Z'gamok Construction LP.
ZCLP is looking for a hard-working, self-motivated individual with a proven record of safety and reliability to fill the position of AZ/DZ Truck Driver.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Secure all loads, materials, and equipment
- Operate vehicle in accordance with laws & regulations at all times
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and equipment, both interior and exterior
- Perform mandatory daily pretrips and posttrips inspections in accordance with current laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate log in compliance with current laws and regulations
- Verify hauling material and weight
- Ability to take direction and communicate verbally
- Constantly monitor, service, and document the equipment logs and inspection as per the preventative maintenance and standard requirements
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Complete daily paperwork detailing job hours and job hazards
- Comply with Z'gamok Construction LP's policies and procedures
- Attend locations including both residential and commercial construction sites
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
- Valid class AZ License
- Minimum 23 years of experience
- Basic measurement and calculation skills
- Ability to follow safe working procedures
- Excellent observation skills and a strong attention to detail
- Good analytical and problemsolving skills
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team

Pay:
$25.10-$30.00 per hour
