Job Description:


Using fact-based information and analysis, assist in creating a productive and cost-effective logistics operation for the North American retail business.

Strong focus on achieving the best customer experience and Continuous Improvement is key to this position. Analysis of forecast vs.

actuals/run rates, Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), customer reported Issues, and results of Continuous Improvement Projects are core responsibilities to help support the growth of the retail channel.


Qualifications:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate cross functionally to align on delivery strategies that minimize cost, align with resources, and meet sales targets
  • Identify and communicate the most efficient mode of transport
  • Monitor progression to ensure on time delivery and effectively communicate any changes to necessary cross functional teams
  • Maintain Retail KPI's and daily end to end reporting
  • Conduct root cause analysis for any issues and drive proactive resolution
  • Daily order reconciliation, to ensure proper order flow between D365 and 3PL systems, and to meet Internal Controls requirements.
  • Transfer Order execution and tracking
  • Assist in the coordination of RTV's from stores to distribution centre(s)
  • Communicate shipping requirements to logistics partners and advise internal stakeholders of any deviations to plan
  • Analysis of results, processes, and continuous improvement ideas/execution
  • Contribute to cross functional initiatives such as New Store Openings, New Product Launches, Corporate Projects, etc.
  • Provide inputs to logistics partner demand forecasts
  • Create and maintain SOP documentation to support daily activities
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience, Education and Designations:


  • 24 years of operations experience
  • Prior experience in Continuous Improvement and Operations Analysis
  • Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma
  • Supply Chain Certification an asset
  • ERP system experience an asset

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organization and problemsolving skills
  • Good financial and business awareness
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Working Conditions:


  • Most work will take place at CG headquarters in an office environment
