About the role

As a Technical Product Manager at Bold Commerce, you will play a vital role in achieving product success by aligning technology with business goals. This position involves steering product development, conducting market research, and fostering innovation. Collaborating closely with diverse teams, you will ensure product quality, usability, and alignment with business objectives.

This role demands strong analytical skills, a profound understanding of technology, and the ability to simplify complexities into actionable insights for the team.


What you'll do
  • Drive the product development lifecycle by defining technical requirements, prioritizing features, and ensuring timely delivery in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Collaborate with the product team and stakeholders to prioritize and manage the roadmap for your product domain area
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support, to align technical messaging, promotions, and support strategies
  • Develop and execute internal enablement sessions, focusing on product usage and technical capabilities
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to design and implement intuitive interfaces that optimize user experience
  • Collaborate with Technical Writers to develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, and release notes
  • Lead technical product demos, presentations, and workshops for internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to showcase product features and benefits
  • Gather user feedback, and iterate on product features and functionality
  • Monitor product performance metrics and analytics, leveraging data insights to evaluate success and identify areas for continuous improvement
  • Serve as the technical liaison for partnerships, addressing complexities in third-party service integration and prioritizing user experience considerations
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to guide product enhancement strategies

What we're looking for
  • Minimum 5 years of product management experience, focusing on platform products, API development, product integrations, or development experience
  • Demonstrated track record in managing technically complex products from inception to launch and ongoing improvement
  • Comprehensive understanding of SaaS and PaaS service models
  • Hands-on experience with product management tools like Jira and Agile processes such as Scrum, Kanban, and roadmapping
  • Experience in Ecommerce, Payments, Fintech, or related fields would be advantageous
  • Previous background in engineering or other technical fields would be a bonus
