Primary Purpose:


The primary purpose of the Instructor position is to plan, organize and deliver curricula to students in an instructor led environment, both online and in class.

The Instructor will be responsible to teach and facilitate courses to classes of students in the Healthcare Leadership post graduate certificate program.

The instructor will evaluate student performance relating to the curricula using a variety of assessments.

The instructor will assist with activities to support student success, including student internship and job placement, industry liaison and administrative functions when required.


The Instructor will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College, while contributing to a positive, supportive and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication and readiness; embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.


What you bring to the position:

  • A university degree in a related field (Healthcare, Nursing, Business Management, etc.) is nice to have.
  • A postsecondary diploma in the related field is required.
  • A degree or diploma in adult education is considered an asset.
  • Understanding of Adult Learning Principles is preferred.
  • Five (5) years of related work experience in a leadership/management/supervisor position at a hospital or other healthcare organization is required.
  • Teaching experience is preferred.
  • Teaching experience in an online environment is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of D2L Brightspace or another Learning Management System is considered an asset.
