Job Overview:
Our finance team is growing and we are looking for someone who is eager to cut their teeth in a fast-paced environment and will not compromise on quality.

As Pricing Analyst, you will contribute to the overall success of the organization by providing guidance and assistance on all sales opportunities, focusing on pricing, but inclusive of all facets that make up our customer bids.
You'll have the opportunity to participate in sales and pricing decisions that can play a direct role in further expanding the growth of our business.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting and working closely with the Director of Finance, responsibilities will include:
Pricing template ownership
- Investigating and maintaining the actual Professional Service effort by various project sizes (fleet/trips, various modules, integrations, etc.)
- Ensuring that Professional Services and Development costs are updated in the pricing templates in a timely manner
- Investigating and maintaining the actual Maintenance support costs by various project sizes (fleet/trips, various modules, integrations, etc.)
- Nonstandard hardware orders
- Sister company integrations
- Review and approve proposed pricing by the sales team, ensuring all common issues are caught or mitigated before the next approval up the leadership chain
- Work with the sales team to create and complete internal review governance summaries and slide decks
- Coordinate internal reviews and approvals
- Ensure the proper use of internal pricing and value driver tools
- Maintain a database of competitor pricing
- Coordinate with M&A on new competitors and existing competitors as targets
- Prepare the monthly and quarterly commissions
- Help sales with any commission optimization analyses/projects
- Analyze maintenance revenue by customer and by product family
- Analyze hosting revenue vs costs
- Adjust the pricing templates for the above as necessary
Requirements:
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management; professional accounting designation preferred (CPA, CA, CMA)
- Minimum of 5+ years accounting or finance experience, preferably in a software industry
- Strong attention to detail as well as critical thinking and analytical skills
- Prior experience at a software company with exposure to project/contract accounting would be considered an asset
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal skills
- Solid working knowledge of MS Office, including an advanced knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of NetSuite OpenAir considered an asset
- Timeliness on delivering commitments and the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to gather data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and propose solutions
- Ability to work closely with a senior management team as well as effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
