Job Title:
Materials - Sorting / Delivery Driver


Job Classification:
Library Assistant III


Job Summary:

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, this position is primarily responsible for the sorting
and distribution of library materials, including driving a delivery van within the library region.

As a valued member of the Headquarters team, the position performs other clerical duties as
assigned and will receive cross-training to cover other positions that ensure the provision of a
seamless level of support to our regional branches.


Required:

Grade 12 or equivalent
Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License with Abstract
Ability to lift and carry library materials weighing up to 15 kilograms on a daily basis
Ability to reach a range of shelves between 5 cm and 200 cm above floor
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check


Preferred:

Experience driving a delivery vehicle, such as a large van.


Hours:37.5 hours per week


Wage:
$16.55/hours per CUPE Local 3077 Collective Agreement
