Responsibilities
- Produce job offers and conduct reference checks
- Conduct exit and stay interviews and manage terminations as appropriate
- Utilize acquisition and social media platforms to build a talent pool
- Lead, coordinate and deliver orientation and manage onboarding logistics
- Manage employee data records including manual files, payroll and HRIS updates
- Participate in administration for promotions, transfers, job classifications, compensation, and annual performance evaluations
- Provide support to team members and leaders on a wide range of human capital issues including policies, compliance, employee relations, total rewards, and performance management
- Prepare and deliver presentations for internal business; facilitate workgroups, training sessions and meetings
- Independently manage complex human resource projects as assigned including developing solutions, creating action plans and communications
- Compile ad hoc statistical reports and develop recommendations for improvement
- Communicate disability management matters with benefits team members, provide support to payroll teams to manage payroll issues
- Assist in the coordination of learning and development programs
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
- Conduct regular reporting for the Regional Human Capital (HC) team
- Support the Regional HC team on projects as necessary
Skills and Experience
- Postsecondary education and accreditation with HR specialty
- Completion of, or working towards, CPHR designation
- 35 years of HR experience
- Professional services industry experience is considered an asset
