PRIDE Seeds is currently seeking a focused and self-motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Seasonal Harvest Labourer.
***: This is a temporary/seasonal 6-week opportunity. Experience in the day-to-day operations of seed corn harvest process from receiving, sorting, drying and shelling hybrid seed corn.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Assist with daily production operations during our seasonal seed corn harvest.
  • Work in receiving, husking, sorting, drying and shelling operations.
  • Assist in maintenance of operations plant equipment.
  • Assist in dryer and sheller under supervision.
  • Assist in Bulk Seed movement and management.
  • Follow all safety & housekeeping procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:


  • No previous experience required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:


  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in dusty and dirty environments.
  • Work 67 days per week for 6week season.
