PRIDE Seeds is currently seeking a focused and self-motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a full-time permanent Marketing Coordinator.
***: Position will report to Canadian Marketing Manager.


RESPONSIBILITES:


  • Coordinate website content and update resource information.
  • Desktop publishing and design of sales, promotional and communications collateral including product sheets for the website, custom sell sheets, signage, social media and graphics, speaker boards, dealer invitations, zone and dealer newsletters, event and trade show materials, and dealer ads.
  • Work with affiliate agency for print advertisements and media plan used across the country.
  • Facilitate collateral, materials, and communication of sales programs.
  • Coordinate customer and company database, and mailing lists.
  • Maintain PRIDE Seeds library and online sales storage site.
  • Collaboratively participate as a creative resource to the sales and agronomy team.
  • Work with entire commercial team to help facilitate collateral material necessary for dealer and customer events.
  • Coordinate and work with Canadian Marketing Manager and Vice President of Business Development regarding print media, radio and media buy.
  • Coordinate efforts with agency, Canadian Marketing Manager and Vice President of Business Development through the creative as well as layout and look of the Yield Guide as well as other print material.
  • Work within and manage the budget specific to creative, communication, print and media activities.
  • Participate in PRIDE Seeds' sales management team discussions as required.
  • Participate in AgReliant Genetics or partner sponsored events or meetings as required.
  • Participate in trade shows, trial tours and retail meetings to help with product performance insights and updates.
  • Maintain a vast knowledge base of the Canadian market.
  • Ensure alignment and transparency between AgReliant Genetics and PRIDE Seeds.
  • Work in office at Pain Court, Ontario PRIDE Seeds office.
  • Facilitate events at PRIDE Seeds, Pain Court PSEC (PRIDE Seeds Education Centre).
- _Duties may be added and amended by the Company as may be reasonably required._


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:


  • Post secondary education in desktop publishing, website development and maintenance, marketing, advertising, business, or related field.
  • Agriculture background preferred.
  • Experience in the seed industry preferred.
  • Experience in social media, marketing support and website maintenance preferred.
  • Bilingual English and French an asset.
  • 3+ years' experience in related fields required.

KNOWLEDE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:


  • A passion for developing a deep understanding of the customer.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and HubSpot.
  • Agility to adjust to changing market conditions.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at a time and meet established deadlines.
  • Pristine team builder and team player.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to understand strategy and translate it into an effective tactical plan.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


  • Ability to work required hours and travel occasionally, as needed.
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs.
  • Role is 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime.
  • Must have valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work outside in varying climates and conditions.
