Tennis Canada also owns and operates the world-class National Bank Open presented by Rogers tournaments in Toronto and Montreal, two of the best-run sporting events on the planet which annually bring the globe's best tennis players to Canada and continue to break attendance records year on year.

In recent times, Canadian tennis has enjoyed many historic achievements, including winning the Billie Jean King Cup in 2023 and Davis Cup the year before, the world's largest team sports competition.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

  • Assist with nonprofit fundraising administration and events (Sweepstakes and Online Auction)
  • Assist with activations and the VIP Chairs Lounge at the National Bank Open in Toronto
  • Support event staff with internal and external communications, administrative tasks, event planning, execution and postevent review and follow up
  • Assist fund development team with managing donor information and tax receipting in Salesforce
WHO YOU ARE?

  • Must be pursuing a postsecondary degree or diploma in Sport, Event Management or Fundraising Management, Business Administration, a related field, or have equivalent experience
  • Proactive, outgoing, and enthusiastic
  • Highly organization and detailoriented
  • Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, creativity, and flexibility
  • A team player with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft office suite including MS Excel
  • Fundraising and/or tennis knowledge, and bilingual (English and French) are considered assets
  • Salesforce experience a strong asset, data management and tax receipting

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Fixed term contract starting April 22, 2024 to August 22nd 202
  • Hybrid remote office schedule
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Office hours are Monday to Friday 95pm
