Description
Riva is looking for an engaged and passionate Product Manager to join our diverse, world-class team. We're committed to designing and supporting the game-changing data integration technologies today's businesses need to succeed. In joining Riva, you'll play a vital role in defining how information is shared and how business relationships grow.

WHO YOU ARE

You've had your hand in building compelling, innovative products that have made people's lives easier, a little more fun, or connected.

As a Product Manager, you hold a high bar for consumer experience, strong customer empathy, a bias for action, excellent execution capability, and strategic vision.

You are a persuasive communicator, securing buy-in from stakeholders on all significant decisions and strategies and providing clear instructions and deliverables for the developers.

Curiosity is a strong suit, and you pair it with experience and knowledge of gathering and synthesizing customer needs.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

Reporting to the Director of Product Experience, the Product Manager will be instrumental to Riva's growth by managing concepts through the initial stages of design, development, launch, and establishing product market fit.

Working with cross-discipline product and stakeholder teams, you will drive discovery, planning, roadmaps, and building of new products and features.

You will work with appropriate urgency and can motivate teams with your passion and vision. You'll advocate for a lean product build and reduce wasted investment (human and financial) as we scale the business.

You will effectively build relationships across the organization as an advocate for the product while pushing key initiatives and bringing the organization along on the journey.

More specifically, your duties will include:

  • Conceive, define, test, deliver, monitor, refine and withdraw products and features in the market (or internally) to maximize business results;
  • Conduct customer research and work with key stakeholders (including business, finance, and IT) to develop and convey a product vision;
  • Establish and maintain relationships with critical business and technology decisionmakers. This includes all stakeholders who have the budget and authority to fund product development and make decisions regarding product capabilities and priorities. Build relationships with vendors or external partners that play a role in product success;
  • Perform (internal or external) customer research using surveys, product analytics, market research, interviews, hackathons, online forums, or other costeffective means of gaining insight into the "voice of the customer." Use this insight to define customer segments that the product will target, to understand those customers' goals, and to determine how they will gain value from product capabilities;
  • Analyze competitor alternatives that target customers might use. Understand which capabilities and qualities the product must have to attract customers away from competitors and to keep them satisfied;
  • Facilitate and drive alignment among critical stakeholders. Supply customer and market research and analytics to lead them toward a cohesive product strategy, vision, and roadmap;
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other product line product managers and product delivery teams to avoid duplication and manage dependencies;
  • Work with key stakeholders to make frequent, dynamic prioritization decisions based on the latest product analytics, product team metrics, and customer feedback. Define, track and communicate key product performance indicators required to inform this process and track business results;
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop and refine business and pricing models for the product, whether directly (through a subscription, for example) or indirectly (based on advertising or internal user trial feedback). This requires substantial quantitative analysis skills;
  • Bring the product to market by ensuring the firm is prepared to deliver and service the product throughout its life cycle. When serving internal customers, product managers should ensure that the organization is ready to provide and support the complete business capability (including its human, organizational, process, and physical aspects, such as training for call center agents);
  • Creating internal alignment for that plan across both business and technology teams;
  • Driving new product features from beginning to end;
  • Working crossfunctionally to launch experiments, analyze results and iterate;
  • Continually monitor and refine the product;
  • Working with a team of highperforming employees; and
  • Perform other duties as may be required from time to time.

WHAT DO YOU BRING?

  • Bachelor's degree or higher;
  • Over three years of relevant experience in technology and/or finance B2B SaaS Product Management;
  • Experience and/or knowledge and certification in AI/ML foundations;
  • Working knowledge of CRMs (Salesforce, Dynamics)
