NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Established in 1979, Toro Aluminum has became a leader in the development and manufacturing of window walls and doors for high-rise condominiums, office buildings and hotels, across Canada, the United States, and Mexico.

Commdoor Aluminum, a company part of the Toro Group, is a supplier of architectural aluminum curtain wall and entrance systems.

REPORTING
The Door Assembler reports directly to the Plant Manager at Commdoor Aluminum. The shift available is Day Shift - Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

Assembly of hardware and door components
Work in a safe and efficient manner
Clean work area and equipment
Assist other departments as necessary
Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

35 years of hardware experience in the aluminum doors and windows industry
Must be able to work in a safe manner with little supervision
Ability to understand and interpret technical information
Excellent organization, time management, problem solving and communication skills
Team player with a "can do" attitude
