Job Overview:


As a Channel Marketing Manager at Liteline, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to maximize brand visibility and sales through various channels, including distributors, specifiers, and online platforms.

You will manage the channel team as well as collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create marketing campaigns, promotions, and educational materials that resonate with our target audience and align with our brand values.


Key Responsibilities:


1.


Channel Strategy Development:


In conjunction with ownership, develop and implement comprehensive channel marketing strategies to drive sales and market share growth for our commodity and architectural lighting products.

Collaboration with Sales Teams:

Work closely with the sales teams to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, ensuring alignment between marketing and sales efforts.

Channel Partner Support:

Provide support and resources to channel partners, including distributors and specifiers, to help them effectively market and sell our products.

Marketing Campaigns:

Plan and execute marketing campaigns tailored to specific channels, utilizing a mix of digital marketing, traditional marketing, and promotional activities.

Content Creation:

Oversee the development of marketing collateral, product literature, and digital content to support channel marketing initiatives.

Market Analysis:

Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats in various channel segments, making data-driven recommendations for growth.

Budget Management:

Manage the channel marketing budget effectively, tracking expenses and ensuring optimal allocation of resources.


8.


Training and Education:

Develop training programs and materials for channel partners to enhance product knowledge and sales capabilities. These would include CEU courses such as AIA.

Performance Metrics:

Define KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of channel marketing efforts, regularly analyzing results and making adjustments as needed.

Events:

Plan, manage, and execute in-house training events for channel partners, ensuring they are well-informed about our products and industry trends.

Coordinate the company's participation in industry trade shows and other customer events. This includes booth design, logistics, staffing, and post-event follow-up to maximize ROI.

Promotions:

Create and track promotions to drive sales and engagement with channel partners and end customers. Monitor the effectiveness of promotions and make data-driven adjustments as needed.

CRM Management:

Oversee the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring data accuracy and adoption across the organization. Leverage CRM data for targeted marketing efforts.

Partner Programs:

Create and manage partner programs to incentivize and reward channel partners for their performance and loyalty, fostering strong relationships.

Advertising and Media Buying:

Plan and execute advertising campaigns across various media channels, including print, digital, and social media. Manage media budgets effectively to maximize reach and impact.


This is the perfect job for you if you have:

  • College or University degree in business or another related field required.
  • 10+ years channel marketing experience, in a B2B industry
  • Advanced Power BI reporting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Navision, and Microsoft Business Central is an asset.
  • Creative and love everything from strategic planning and problem solving, to implementation and assessing success.
  • Experience in planning and budgeting; time management is critical, as is keeping your stakeholders organized.
  • Fluent in English and French, both written and verbal
  • Design experience is an asset.
