Our delivery trucks cover Manitoba and northwestern Ontario, servicing farm and commercial accounts with fuel.

The Opportunity:
Red River Co-op (RRC) is seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Community Ambassadors. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals interested in gaining entry-level marketing experience on a part-time basis. As part of the team, you will represent our brand at various community events, engagements, and on social media. This role requires interacting with the community, setting up equipment/signage, managing event activities, and maintaining a positive attitude in all situations.
  • Be a knowledgeable and enthusiastic brand ambassador.
  • Animate crowds, attract attention, and engage with community members.
  • Set up and tear down equipment/signage to visual standards.
  • Manage event activations, including inventory and interactions with the public.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude in all weather conditions.
  • Problem-solve with minimal supervision while onsite.
About You:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and punctuality.
  • Self-motivation, energy, and an outgoing personality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexible availability for evenings and weekends.
  • Valid Manitoba Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Prior experience in street-level promotions and the ability to handle challenges effectively.
  • An educational background in marketing/communications is advantageous.
Compensation:
This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $16.00, with an average of 10-15 hours per week during the summer. Events may occur during the day, evenings, and weekends.
